During the NEM Summit, COAST will present the world’s first working prototype of an 3D adaptive video receiver based on the novel Dynamic and Adaptive HTTP Streaming (DASH) standard.
The DASH based software receiver and tools for 3D video formats generation have been implemented according to latest standard specifications.
Streaming client and 3D decoder library have been integrated in GStreamer, a popular multimedia framework for PC and embedded systems. The receiver and the adaptation algorithms have been ported on the ARM based board, which is also included in the setup as thin client.
The prototype will be available, at the STMicroelectronics booth in the NEM Exhibition area, stand no. 12.
